Food Production Video: Video Making and Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Like I promised, I'm going to share some of the pictures of the video making. And the recipe too!
Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
3/4 cup unsalted butter (170 g)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 whole large egg
1 large egg yolk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp regular salt
1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 325° degrees Fahrenheit (170 degrees Celsius)
- Using a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar on high speed.
- Next, add the vanilla extract, egg, egg yolk and beat until smooth. Sift the flour and baking soda together. Stir in the salt. Add the dry ingredients and mix on low until everything is incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Lightly grease the baking tray with butter. Using two tablespoons, form equal size rounds of dough. Make sure to leave enough space between each cookie as they will spread out a bit as they bake.
- Bake the cookies for 13 to 15 minutes or until the edges turn a light golden color. Once done, cool for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely before serving.
The first time I baked the cookies it turned out bad. Because I set the temperature to number 2 (this is actually correct according to the recipe) and baked for 15 minutes. Idk why but after a few rounds of trials and errors (leads to the new temperature and time) it baked nicely! I was so happy. :)))
Then I made a second batch but this time I added cocoa powder (70 g) and almond nibs (50 g) and reduce the white sugar to half. I also replaced half of the butter with margarine, because I was out of butter. So I get double chocolate chip cookies with almond! Heee.

Since the bad cookies look decent enough I still used it for the video, I took the video of me packaging the cookies but somehow the video is not in my phone. Maybe I forgot to press record? Blergh. Need to take it again. This time just a picture.
I'm halfway done at editing the video. Still need to add the voice over and the picture of the packaging. I'm pretty positive the video will come out nice. Hehehe.
Once the video is done, I will share the link in my next post and show you the good cookies in its packaging! I know you're wondering if it taste good or not. Of course it is! :D
Bye. See you when I see you. :)
